What’s Next on Syria?: Principles for U.S. Engagement in the Middle East

  • Bipartisan Policy Center 1225 I Street Northwest Washington, DC, 20005 United States

As a new administration grapples with U.S. policy on the Middle East, The Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) is convening a panel of foreign policy experts to discuss U.S. interests and policy in the region and whether a reassessment is required. BPC will also be releasing its newest study, “Wringing Order from Chaos,” which argues for the region’s continued importance to the United States, and lays out strategic principles for the administration to consider as it crafts a new policy.

Report co-authors Ryan Crocker, Eric Edelman, James Jeffrey and Jake Sullivan will hold a wide-ranging and provocative discussion of the national security threats that the United States currently faces in the region and how to go about confronting them.
