U.S. Foreign Assistance Architecture and Funding: Opportunities and Challenges for the 115th Congress

The Society for International Development is welcoming David Berteau, CEO of the Professional Services Council (PSC),  Sally Canfield, Senior Director of Government Relations for the ONE Campaign,  Lindsay Coates, President of InterAction, and Jason Gross, Executive Director of the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC) for a candid off-the-record conversation as they share insights into the changes we might anticipate for international assistance programs. What are some of the opportunities and challenges before Congress and the Administration? How would a change to U.S. foreign assistance structures through “redesign” impact U.S. diplomacy and development efforts? Nora O'Connell, Associate Vice President of Save the Children's Public Policy & Advocacy Department and SID-Washington Board Member, will moderate this timely conversation.
