Taking the Law Out of the Books

  • American Red Cross 430 17th Street Northwest Washington, DC, 20006 United States (map)

For almost 30 years, dozens of students have come together for the Jean-Pictet Competition. The 28th edition was held in Evian-les-Bains in March, 2016. During a full week, 144 students from over 40 countries were thrust into the terrible yet imaginary Suleavan conflict, and competed through role play and pleadings. Once again, they "took the law out of the books." Join the American Red Cross to hear the story of an unusual week for Pascal, Koffi, and Britant.

Keynote by Sarah Holewinski, Senior Fellow at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS), seconded to the Joint Chiefs Transregional Threats Coordination Cell.
