The Heritage Foundation is hosting a panel of distinguished experts to discuss the spectrum of issues surrounding U.S. arms sales to Taiwan. Topics to be examined will include the process itself, the history of the issue in the context of the 1982 Six Assurances and other understandings, and the influence of previous arms sales on U.S.-Taiwan and U.S.-China relations.
