Despite recent progress towards peace, Colombia remains marred by forced displacement, threats of violence and damage to civilian property.

Jordi Raich, who has headed our Colombia delegation since the Fall of 2011, visited Washington last February to share his reading of the conflict and the humanitarian situation in the country with US officials and civil society actors.

In Gracias Por El Apoyo, an original Intercross production, Mr. Raich speaks about the humanitarian consequences of a conflict that has lasted half-a-century, the way the ICRC operates in both rural and urban environments and outstanding issues such as the 70,000 people still missing today. For the first time, Mr. Raich details the neutral intermediary role played by the ICRC in ongoing negotiations between the government and FARC-EP.
