ICRC President Peter Maurer calls Bangladesh-Myanmar Crises "Lose-Lose Situation for People"

ICRC President Peter Maurer recently returned from a trip to Bangladesh and Myanmar, where he saw firsthand the impact from the crisis that started in August 2017. He visited both sides of the border, the northern parts of Rakhine State well as the camps of Cox's Bazar, which according to OCHA are holding nearly a million refugees, making the concentration of refugees there amongst the densest in the world.
