Life and Loss in South Sudan

Some stories need more than 140 characters to be told. The ongoing and complex crisis in South Sudan is one such example. Recently, ICRC's Jason Straziuso went to Maiwut, a town some 400 kilometers north-east of the capital Juba. Visiting the public hospital there, Jason met doctors and nurses working around the clock to help those in need and witnessed first hand the incredible struggle for survival that has become the daily reality for millions.
