We are pleased to announce a new feature of Intercross - "Mark Your Calendar"!
Washington, D.C. is home to many of the most respected and well-known think tanks, NGOs, and civil society groups who host events and discussions on wide-ranging issues largely affecting our world today. Those of us who are lucky enough to live and work in the area know that more workshops, events and panels take place each day than are possible to attend.
"Mark Your Calendar" seeks to be a resource for people wanting to find out about public discussions happening in and around Washington (and sometimes online) that pertain to humanitarian issues and U.S. policies that could have a humanitarian impact.
The list will be updated regularly with a short description of the event, date & time, and a link to RSVP. If you can't attend in person, "Mark Your Calendar" will also share how to live-stream an event to watch from anywhere (when a webcast is available). We will also save past events for reference and review. It's by no means exhaustive but we hope our followers will find it useful. We aim to highlight ICRC-led events and ones hosted by other outlets and organizations.
If you are hosting an event that you think may be relevant, please send at note to Sara Owens - firstname.lastname@example.org - and we will consider sharing it.
**Naturally, just because we feature something on the calendar, does not necessarily mean the ICRC endorses the host organization or institution, nor do we endorse the content or opinions of those contributing to the discussions.**
