The ICRC's Law and Policy Team has announced that the Humanitarian Law & Policy Blog is now available on Medium.

While the former website remains active, readers are encouraged to make the most out of this new platform, notably by recommending articles and leaving your own thoughts as comments.

On the occasion of the launch of the new platform, featured here are the ongoing blog series on The evolution of warfare. Building upon the International Review of the Red Cross’ latest edition, it discusses the history of armed conflict and humanitarian action. Recently published blog posts provide insights into the changing face of warfare, as well as the evolution of IHL and the role of the media in wartime.

To learn more about how you could contribute to the blog, send a message to the Humanitarian Law & Policy Blog editor at rdallaireferland@icrc.org.
