From the field - French journalist released by FARC-EP
The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia-People's Army (FARC-EP) released journalist Romeo Langlois to an ICRC team yesterday.
Once again, our delegation in Colombia acted as a neutral intermediary to facilitate the release of Mr. Langlois, who was the 1,475th person released under ICRC auspices since 1994.
The France24 reporter was covering a counternarcotic operation by the Colombian Army when captured by FARC-EP on April 28.
