Earlier today, a Misrata-based ICRC team returned to Sirte, crossing the front line west of the besieged city to bring emergency medical supplies to its largest hospital. Karen Strugg, head of the Misrata office, spoke to me while on the road just outside of Sirte. She was negotiating our team's movement out of the city after they had completed their day's work.

The statement the delegation made Saturday after a team first entered Sirte on Saturday is here.
