A new wave of unrest and violence has rocked Sana'a and other parts of Yemen for a week. There has been a lull in violence in the last 48 hours but medical facilities continue to treat hundreds of civilians and members of security forces wounded during the clashes. Oscar Avogadri, an Italian doctor, coordinates our health assistance programs in Yemen. Dr. Oscar carried out missions in Pakistan, the Ivory Coast and Somalia before joining our delegation in Sana'a. He spoke to me from the Yemeni capital.
