Dispatch - One year in Sa'ada governorate, north Yemen

I met with Ishfaq Khan in Sana'a, on the last day of his one-year mission as head of sub-delegation in Sa'ada, north Yemen

During his tenure, the ICRC assisted thousands of people in Sa'ada governorate amidst clashes between Houtis, local tribes and the government.

As Mr. Khan reflects on a year spent in one of the world's most challenging contexts, the humanitarian situation remains precarious for many in and around Sa'ada.
